Our axial piston pump operates as a four-quadrant pump, analyzing the pump's working oil port A or B. With positive/negative flow direction and positive/negative pressure, it features four working modes: pump forward, pump reverse, motor forward, and motor reverse. Therefore, a four-quadrant pump can be described intuitively as usable as both a pump and a motor, capable of forward and reverse operation. It is suitable for closed-loop circuits as well as open-loop circuits.
